On my mission I was able to experience many different companionships. Each had its own strengths and weaknesses, and each made me a better person in the end. But the best ones were when, through the hard work necessary, we achieved that oneness. There was a real, tangible difference between those truly unified companionships and the others. And that's how I look at marriage now that I'm looking for an eternal companion; I don't want to see my wife as merely "my wife." I want to see her as my other half--that which really completes me, without which I would be left only half a man, and to whom I would give just as much regard (or more) as I would myself. In the context of this blog post, that would be like achieving "Elohim" in that the couple is as one entity.Nathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06350477130341783235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3076046704768709047.post-26461131937634685332010-12-28T09:47:24.205-07:002010-12-28T09:47:24.205-07:00You my friend were right to tell me to look up thi...You my friend were right to tell me to look up this post after my blogging adventures last night. You can't be complete without someone who compliments you.

The cherry on top? We cannot obtain celestial glory, godhood, or perfection until we have a celestial marriage.

Yup. Put that one in your crock pot and cook it.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12349446423010249163noreply@blogger.com
